Mission: Common Ground is for moms of all ages to connect with each other while celebrating the joys of motherhood in a Christ centered environment. Our desire is to encourage women in their roles as wives, mothers, friends and most importantly, children of God.
Nursery is provided.

In October 2008 a new version of the U.S. citizenship test will be taken by all applicants. The questions are usually selected from a list of 100 samples that prospective citizens can look at ahead of the interview. Some are easy, some are not. Could you pass it?
Whew! We Are Back
April 18th, 2008For some unknown reason, our website database became corrupted and all data was lost and the last backup was two months old. Note to self: Never assume that the hosting company makes regular backups of your site and database. Read the fine print! Anyway, lesson learned and now I have a newly written scheduled job that automatically backs up the database weekly. I’ve spent the last 8 hours rebuilding the site and reposting everything I could find. If you registered on our site after April 18th 2008 then you will need to register again. There are also some comments that were posted on articles that I was not able to retrieve. Some pages are still blank but I’m getting to them.

So Just What Is DISCIPLE NOW?
This is an intense weekend filled with Bible Study, Sharing & Fellowship, Recreation, Good Food, and Fun. This retreat-like event will take place in the homes of our own church members. You will have the chance to build new relationships, and most importantly be challenged to grow spiritually. Some of the area’s finest college group leaders will be there prepared to offer you friendship, guidance, and encouragement. You also have a chance to spend a weekend with some of your closest friends, and the opportunity to develop new friends.
“Disciple Now” is an intense experience that could very well change your life.
Desoto Hills Baptist Church has been hosting disciple now weekends now for five years now and we place a LARGE AMOUNT of time and energy putting one of the finest DNows in north Mississippi. This year we are bringing in Bethany Barr Phillips (opened for David Crowder Band in Atlanta Fest this summer) to lead students to the throne of God with her incredible worship band. Chad Poe (friend of Marc Lewis) and nationally known speaker (student life) will be here to bring the word to our students and adults.
