Celebrating our First Christmas Season

Words can not express how my heart really feels as we celebrate our first Christmas season in this new facility, as this new church.. As someone so beautifully said it in a Christmas card to my family, “It was a vision, it was a dream, and now it is a reality. DeSoto Hills is here.†It has been a year full of unbelievable change and the challenges that accompanied that change seemed at times overwhelming. However, as always the Lord’s grace proved once again to be sufficient, and here we are. On behalf of all the staff let me thank you for your love, support, and patience as we continue to work out the kinks involved in an endeavor of this magnitude. May the Babe of Bethlehem always find DeSoto Hills a people ready and eager to share His love with a lost and lonely world.

BREAKOUT!
Every summer we “Breakout” of our normal 365 Studies on Wednesday nights for a special series. This summer Brother James will be teaching through the book, “Erasing Hell: What God Said About Eternity, and the Things We’ve Made Up.” The book was written by Francis Chan & Preston Sprinkle and which will be available for purchase beginning Wednesday, April 18. The study will begin on May 2 and continue throughout the summer. Our 365 Small Groups will begin again on the first Wednesday night in August. Meals will continue through May 16, but our volunteers will be taking a small break May 23 – June 13. There will be meals June 20 and 27 and July 11 and 18 which will begin at 5 with our Breakout session beginning at 6 each Wednesday. We hope that you will make plans to attend.
