Children’s Choir

Rehearsals: Wednesdays, 6:45 – 7:30
Place: Grades 1-3, Choir Room
Grades 4-6, Chair Closet

Grades 1-3: In this choir children learn how to use music to tell others about Jesus Christ
and how to sing praises to God. They are taught the basics of music melody, rhythm, singing
technique and choir manners.

Grades 4-6: In this choir children gain a deeper understanding of worship and the
responsibilities of being a leader. They build on the basics taught in earlier choirs and are led to
hear and sing harmony.

The Children’s Choirs sing in the morning worship services at different times throughout the
year, perform seasonal musicals and also attend the State Children’s Choir Festival.
